Rania Ekaterinari is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PPC, responsible for Finance, Human Resources & Organization.


Prior to this position, she worked for more than 10 years in banking, both in leading international banks like BNP Paribas (Athens, 2006-present) and Deutsche Bank (London, 1999-2001), as well as in the Greek banking sector through her career in Eurobank (Athens, 2001-2006). From all those positions, she almost exclusively focused on the energy sector, acting as a corporate or investment banker, responsible for the provision of a broad range of corporate and investment banking products and services to major Greek and international energy companies.


Between 1997-1999, she also worked in the oil & gas industry, in Texaco (today Chevron), in assessing investment opportunities in the Caspian region in Central Asia. The first years of her career, she also worked as an electrical engineer in Greece and in Denmark.


Rania Ekaterinari is a graduate from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a degree in Electrical Engineering (specialisation in power). She also holds an MBA from City University Business School in London.


She is a Deputy Chairman of the Energy Committee of the Technical Chamber of Greece.


During her career, she participated in many international energy conferences and was a speaker in some of them, mainly focusing on financing mechanisms for large investments in the energy sector.
